DALIS AIR Railway sector or inspection pit cover
DALIS AIR :
The DALIS AIR system rests on a pneumatic mattress that wraps around the side of the pit. Its lateral deployment pre-disposes it to the pits of very large length. Indeed, the opening and closing time depends on the width of the pit and not on its length.
This characteristic is particularly preferred for railway and inspection pits.
Description:
The DALIS AIR system is stored in a ‘box hat’ that is fixed on the edge of the upper pit. The system can be deployed manually (by pressing a button section by section (dead man directives)) or automatically (vehicle presence sensor).
Application domain:
DALIS AIR is suitable for all pits but is well suited in the case of long lengths, especially in the railway field. It is possible to cover a pit of 200 linear metre in length in a very short time.
No loss of time for the operator. It can work safely anywhere on the pit.
It is possible to insert a bridge that can roll over the cover.
Strong points:
Dalis AIR is an accordance with the recommendations R468 et R469 of the CARSAT.
This conformity reduces the impact resistance (shock effect of 1200 JOULES), but also the ergonomic criteria. It is quite possible to manoeuvre a vehicle on the pit, while preserving the emergency stairs, fast implementation without risk of falling into the pit, visualization of the security via the dashboard, resistance to environment (hydrocarbons, etc).
DALIS AIR does not obstruct the passage in the pit, regardless of its length.
The opening and closing time of the pit is independent of its length due to the transverse movement of the device.
Particularly preferred for very long pits, but also for technical inspection pits.
Restrictions:
The DALIS AIR is not a working platform for an operator but can withstand up to 200 kg/ m² (and a shock effect of 1200 JOULES).
